Here at LRX Offroad, we have unique specialist skills and knowledge, allowing us to re-cover your headlining, using only top-quality materials. We take your tatty, stain-ridden headlining, professionally strip back the brushed nylon covering and recover the headlining board with new, foam-backed brushed nylon material, available in a range of colours. Our team has specialist expertise in working with all things ‘fabric’ and we certainly know our way around Landy headlinings. So whether it's for a Discovery, Defender, Range Rover Classic, or even a P38a, a re-covered, restored headlining can bring your interior back to life and top-off a lovely restoration.

In case you don’t like your original headlining colour, we can advise on alternative colours available by special order.

 

Shipping or Fitting

We can ship it to you wherever you are. Alternatively, if you happen to be spending time in the lovely Lake District, you could bring your beloved vehicle to our workshops and our experts will install it for you.

We are located in the West Cumbrian village of Great Broughton, (3 miles west of historic Cockermouth).

 

Our expert installation takes just a few hours.

However, we know Land Rovers and we acknowledge the headlining damage is often the result of failure of the original manufacturer’s seals, leading to those unsightly water stains. So we also recommend an additional service, where we remove and re-seal your sunroofs, drains and roof bars, to prevent your new headlining suffering the same fate as your old one.

 

Re-sealing takes a little longer and we’ll need your Landy overnight to ensure the sealant cures properly, and so we can complete a thorough water-test. We've never had one of our sunroofs leak yet!

 

That said, if you're confident you can fit the headlining yourself, or you know a local mechanic who can install it, we can ship your new headlining direct to an address of your choice. This works as an exchange unit and you send us your old board back to us in the same box.

We even have the expertise to offer a tailor-made service. If your truck has been modified and your board no longer fits, we can reconstruct the board to suit your modified vehicle.
